My full detail and exterior Packages use a one-step polish/wax product applied by machine, except in the small areas a machine won't reach like under the door handles. If customers want longer term protection and decide to pay extra for the ceramic sealant, I polish with a machine (just like with the one step product) and apply the sealant by hand. Chrome and metal polishing gets done by hand in most cases, unless it's a large area like a chrome bumper.
